Walsh Federal, a member of The Walsh Group is currently seeking an Security Escort Technician for the Ellsworth AFB, in Rapid City, South Dakota.

 

The Escort will drive a company vehicle to guide employees and third parties from the project site back and forth.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for safe and timely escort of workers and visitors to and from the work site
  • Track vehicles and personnel within a secured environment
  • Observe and report on possible safety and security issues
  • Ability to perform tasks including minor physical labor as instructed by supervisor
  • Remove and properly dispose of debris and waste materials
  • May be asked to work on additional projects within assigned region

Qualifications

 

  • 1 Year Verifiable Experience Preferred
  • Able to obtain a Secret security clearance (disqualifications include: felony conviction within the past 10 years, significant history of financial problems with heavy indebtedness and late payments (over 180 days), repossessions, and garnishments).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
  • Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
