Archer Western/Traylor Bros. JV, a member of The Walsh Group is currently seeking an Instrument Person for the SETF / Howard Frankland Bridge Replacement, in Tampa, FL.

The Instrument Person's primary function to operate surveying instruments and mark reference points for grades; may oversee Rodman.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Sets up, adjusts, and operates surveying equipment
• May assist Surveyor in establishing elevation points and other field layout
• Works with plans to establish points and grades for construction
• May perform other related duties as required

• 3 years of construction experience Preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions
• Requires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly
• Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Requires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
